The REAL Deal With Bulletproof Home

15If you haven`t heard of Bulletproof Home before, you should check out their website: www.bulletproofhome.com. The story behind it is truly unbelievable and got my attention from the very first second.
Still, I had no idea whether the book was as mindblowing as the events that led to its writing. The author, Steve Walker, went through a whole adventure to get the answers any prepper or survivalist wants to know. But did he succeed? Is the book as valuable as he claims it is?

I bought the book about a month ago. I was looking forward to reading it and I had very high hopes about it. I`ve read no less than 17 books, manuals and guides on home defense so far. And I tossed out 14 of them. They were 90% copy-paste.

So you can only imagine how thrilled I was to discover this man, Steve Walker, went on the journey of his life all across the globe, just to discover the secrets of REAL XXIst century survivors.

In fact, this is what made me buy this book in the first place: the fact that it promised real stories, with real survivalists from our troubled times. Not so-called “ancient Chinese secrets” that you get off the Internet with a simple Google search.

So I got Bulletproof Home, hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. Well, I am happy to let  you know that my hopes won this battle. And this is not something I say easily, I am very critical of the survival books I read. But here is what I loved about it the most:

●     It gives you real life examples. No more BS.

In Bulletproof Home, you`ll read amazing stories from people who survived social chaos in the past 2-3 years. People who knows what it`s like to be caught in a crisis in our “commodities era”. People who`ve seen everything and want to share their experiences and lessons with you. Now that`s priceless!

●     It shows you the deadly mistakes most survivalists make. Even me. Even you.

And you know why we make these mistakes? Because that`s what we read in regular survival books. We take the information for granted, but realise it`s no good when it`s too late. Or when you read the experiences of other preppers in Bulletproof Home and learn from their mistakes. I sure did and now my whole strategy changed over one weekend. I`m just sorry I wasted all that money on all the wrong stuff…

●     It`s light on the pocket. If you don`t have thousands to invest in home defense, this is definitely for you.

In fact, the “low key” method is much more effective than the regular defense system preppers use. And here`s why: dirt-cheap, yet clever techniques will act as booby-traps for any looter, burglar or rapist out there.

Criminals are already used to alarm systems, safe rooms and the usual hiding places. To keep them off your property, you have to surprise them. You have to scare them away. And you`ve got 30+ of these methods in Bulletproof Home and they`ve all been proven to work in real-life crisis situations.

●     It`s time effective. You don`t need to spend hours remodelling your home.

That`s the beauty of simple tricks and quick fixes: you`ll get them done in no time! Imagine the stunts the kid pulled in Home Alone, taken to prepper level. No child game here, but you`ll spend about the same amount of time preparing your home for the coming social chaos.

I can honestly say that no other home defense book I`ve read so far helped me this much. They either burned a hole in my wallet, or they were hard to follow… or they basically showed me how to tear my home to pieces and then build it back up.

But you don`t need to live inside a safe room for the rest of your life to have your family protected at all times… even when the streets are crowded with angry mobs. In fact, it`s just the other way around. You don`t want to attract attention. You want to stay low. And that`s what Bulletproof Home taught me: how to stay low, while building an unbreakable shield around my home.

And here`s something extra I got from Steve Walker – the author – for buying his book:

●     Crash Proof: How to Survive an Economic Collapse

These are real stories from people in Argentina, Egypt and other countries around the world that were hit by severe economic crises.

It shows you the mistakes some of them have made, so you know exactly what to avoid. On the other hand, there are also success stories to get inspired from. Also, I got…

●     Doctor in a Box

This one is crucial in times of crisis. When medical help is unavailable, when access to pharmacies is restricted… you`re going to need all the help you can get.

That`s why I made several copies of this guide and put them in our bug-out bags. And I suggest you do the same.

Now, here`s a little something for seniors. If you`re over 60, you`re going to want this:

●     Boomer’s Guide to Prepping

What I really loved about it is that it shows how useful seniors truly are in a crisis. Usually, they`re portrayed as these fragile beings that should be living in a plastic bubble, just in case.

Well, someone finally comes forward and tells the truth: seniors are indispensable in any emergency situation. They know what it`s like to live a normal life without the Internet or fancy technology. They`ve been through rough times and their life experience can generate solutions that no 30 year-old would even think of.

Who knew seniors could gain so much power in a world ruled by youngsters? I had no idea, really. This guide was really useful, but my personal favorite is this one:

●     Unlimited Power: 5 cheap or free energy sources for a crisis

It`s a report that changed my view on alternative energy. If you thought generators, solar panels and turbines were pretty much the only ways to get green energy for your home, you were wrong.

There are other methods that you can use to generate power when the grid breaks down. And they`re much cheaper or even free.

And speaking about free… there`s another extra guide I got together with Bulletproof Home. It`s called The Ultimate Prepping Coach workbook and it helps you squeeze in prepping in your daily schedule.

Sometimes, I tend to get lazy or simply have too many things to do and I end up neglecting my survival plan for days in a row. So I really needed a good organizer to  help me keep prepping a daily habit.

If you`re like me, you`re going to need this guide, too. I recommend it wholeheartedly. It shows you everything in baby steps, so you don`t feel overwhelmed. Trust me, everything will seem much, much easier from now on.

Now, I hope this review helped you make an informed decision. I told you my opinion, subjective as it is. But it was honest and I strongly suggest you get Bulletproof Home. You won`t regret it. You CAN`T regret it. You`ll see for yourself… And then, if you want, we can talk about what you liked the most about this book.
