How to make your own Fire Starters for FREE

I love free things.  Especially free things I can use.  So I don’t know how many of you will use this, but if you are a prepper, just plan for emergency preparedness, you go camping a lot or you are a scout leader this is great for you to know.

All you need is used dryer sheets and lint.  Most people have an abundance of this!  🙂

Take your dryer sheet and put some lint in the middle. Roll it up lengthwise and then tie the ends in a knot.  (I double knot it.)

That is it!!  Easy and Free!!  Doesn’t get better than that!  Then you just use it in place of traditional fire starters.

    1. In field craft, it is considered a “fire starter.” While you are correct in that it does not provide the “spark” to light the fire. You would be considered a NOOB if you said that in a group of experienced outdoors people.
