  1. I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Dime Piece LA celebrity streetwear brand? I am unable to proceed to the checkout on Dimepiecela site. I’ve read in Vogue that the brand was acquired by a UK hedge fund in excess of $50m. I’ve just bought the Dimepiece White Winter Cuffed Beanie from Ebay and absolutely love it xox

  2. Tumble drier lint and wax also makes great firelighters – layer lint into the bottom of an egg box and melt wax over the top.

  3. – Any soda can can be turned into a portable camp stove – anyone that can get this to work is a badass.
    – Cotton pads dipped in wax are great for starting fires – Vaseline soaked cotton balls works great!
    – Ditch the pillow, all you need is a bag and the clothes you already packed – this is WHY I carry a pillow. If you can sleep like this, you are a badass.
    – Or, use a ziploc as an inflatable one – badass again – if you don’t sweat with plastic on your face, you’re pretty badass.
    – Bring a bar of soap (for bug bites if nothing else)- I carry the hotels soaps – takes up less room and costs nothing.
    – You can use dental floss to repair a ripped anything – and if you don’t have a needle, a multitool and pine needles work. Patched my tent 5 years ago and it’s still holding. Did you know the filaments inside paracord can be used for floss?
